Words shaped by decades in the room with leaders – their struggles, their breakthroughs, and everything in between

Every single day, the media bombards us with wars, conflicts, and the worst sides of humanity. It is inherent in our biological nature that our gaze is drawn toward threats. We are consciousness clothed in biological mechanisms coded for survival. It is encoded in our reptilian brain, in the limbic system, to keep watch for danger so we can fight it or avoid it.
But at the same time, there is so much love.
Try looking another way for a moment. Set the doomsday scenarios aside – just for a couple of hours. Or maybe a couple of days.
Then take a walk down the street in your town.
Look around – right there on your street, where you live. What do you notice?
Here comes an old, stooped lady, shuffling along with her poodle. She walks with difficulty and her back aches, but there is nothing to be done about that, because the little curly-top needs its walk. Rain or shine, the dog has to go out – that's what it means to be a dog mom. Even at 88. Just look at her. The old lady loves her dog more than anything else – it is her everything.
And the poodle in its silly checkered coat, which isn't at all necessary in this fine weather? It loves the old lady, its mom, more than anything on earth.
And who's coming now? A lovely young woman strolls by, pushing her baby in a stroller. She is completely lost to the world as she walks along with her nose deep in the stroller – with baby brain, cooing in baby talk.
This young woman, this new mother? She loves her child more than anything on earth. More than anything else. And the little child, who, just like the poodle, is bundled up far too warmly, loves its mother.
Because that's just the way it is.
Then a young couple comes strolling by – their arms wrapped tightly around each other. See how she gazes up, enraptured, at her young prince. And how he holds her close – proud as a peacock that he is the one she has chosen. To think that she chose him! He loves her more than she knows.
They are two people who love each other. Because they simply can't help it.
And over there sits an elderly married couple – like two shadows that have become one – close together on the bench by the fountain. They huddle a little against the wind – as if to shield themselves from a world that has become so noisy, and where everything suddenly moves too fast. They are old, the two of them. Wrinkled. Their faces full of lines and stories from a long life lived.
He is hard of hearing. Wears a hearing aid. She walks with difficulty and uses a cane. So there they sit, the two dear old souls, watching life pass by. There aren't many words between them. None are needed. For they have been together a whole lifetime, and they are on the same frequency. On their own wavelength. Their communication is constant and wordless.
And when one of them soon crosses the threshold and leaves this life, the other will quickly follow. For there is so much love between them that they cannot live without each other.
There is so much love, right here! Right now, as you read these words.
Feel it. Let it fill you and lift you.
Having to earn being loved. Having faults and flaws. Feeling unworthy of love? These are merely shadows in the ancient layers of the collective consciousness. And when we rise above them – and look into the true nature of our being, we find the love within ourselves. The essence of what we are.
There, we are in our true frequency. There, the conflicts, the rejections, and the feeling of being wrong come to an end. Instead, in life's hall of mirrors, we are met with the care, recognition, and love we have always longed for deep inside, because now we finally know ourselves.
There is so much love.
